My name is Alli St. Juste and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Associate under the supervision of Amy Hutchinson, owner and operator of Olive Branch Counseling & Training, LLC.
My journey towards becoming a counselor began a few years ago. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Texas Tech University, I found myself wanting to impact others in a more meaningful way. Through my own counseling experience and a lot of introspection, I discovered the incredible power of therapy and my passion for helping others reach their full potential. I decided to return to school for counseling and graduated in May 2020 with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I’m now able to work towards fulfilling my life’s purpose of helping others and making the world a better place - one person at a time.
My personal counseling approach involves aspects of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused therapy. But because I believe that each client requires a unique counseling experience to best meet their goals, I try to take an integrative approach that combines aspects of several theories to ensure my clients receive the best individualized care. I work primarily with adolescents and young adults, but I have experience with clients of all ages. I strive to be inclusive and culturally responsive, and my areas of focus include (but are not limited to): depression, anxiety, phase of life difficulties, life management, couples/family therapy, grief and loss, behavioral issues, and anger management.
I believe that everyone enters counseling with unique strengths and abilities. As your counselor, I will help you recognize these strengths and encourage you to use them to tackle any and all of life’s challenges. By bringing unconditional positive regard, empathy, and understanding to each of my counseling sessions, I strive to create an environment that promotes change through honest communication and trust. My goal is to provide you with the support, guidance, and tools you need to utilize your strengths and take back control of your life.
