Corinne Forth M.S. MFT, LMFT-Associate

Hi, my name is Corinne Forth. I am an LMFT-Associate. Many people who read bios such as mine are looking for change. Maybe this change is for their life, relationship(s), or their current struggles. Often people come looking for hope, wanting to be heard, deserving to be respected. My decision to become a marriage and family therapist comes from my belief in therapeutic conversation and its ability to help people find their strength, hope, and see change come to light.

As a therapist I believe first in creating a space where clients can feel able to speak freely and explore the topics they believe to be most important. I work from the perspective that my clients are experts in their own lives, which allows me to set aside judgment and instead seek to understand. I believe each of my clients comes with their own strengths, tools, and abilities. Together I want to create space for conversations that are meaningful to you, making room for the change you seek along the way. Each person’s journey through counseling is different. I want to get to know what brings you to therapy and what you are hoping to get out of our time together.

My intention is to welcome everyone, from all walks of life, and meet every client where they are at. I work from a client self-agency promoting, LGBTQ+ affirming, broad spirituality, strengths-based, sex-positive, identity affirming, racially conscious, and systemic perspective. I seek to incorporate any faith, spirituality, or belief system that you connect with into our conversations. I provide therapy sessions for children, adults, couples, those who define their connection in their own way, and families. Whether this is a new problem, a long-standing problem, something you want to see changed or you are coming to therapy because someone else told you to come, we can work together to make our sessions the right fit for you.

I look forward to beginning our conversation.
