Hello, thank you for taking the time to click on my name and find out about me. My name is Kay Comstock-May. I am a former educator,  leaving the field of education to continue my own higher education. While I hold many degrees, the most important are my Master of Science in Psychology, earned in 2012, from the University of Phoenix and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in marriage, couples, and family from Walden University, earned in May 2023.

During my previous counseling internships, I worked with a variety of individuals experiencing various symptoms and life adjustments.  I have worked with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I also have experience co-leading parenting classes.  I really enjoy getting to know my clients and helping them on the path to their happiness.

Another area where I have knowledge and experience is in the military world.  I am familiar with military family issues as a spouse to a former military member and now a veteran. I am the mother of military members as well.

Working with clients requires meeting them where they are and helping them to find their path. I choose the interventions, theories, and techniques based on your personal needs. I hope to collaborate with you in a way that meets your needs.  We will find a way to work at your pace.

I enjoy working alongside a variety of clients and with a variety of circumstances:
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Trauma
• Parenting
• Grief
• Self-Esteem
• Bullying
• Domestic Violence Survivors
