Hello! My name is Krista and I am a pre-licensed professional counselor. I have worked in the mental health field for a few years and have experience working with individuals from all walks of life. I believe in the resilience and strength of individuals and will empower my clients to use that strength to grow and create the change that they want to see in their own lives. I believe that everyone is the own expert in their life and deserves to be heard and celebrated. I feel honored to help people achieve their goals of growth, healing, and gaining new skills.
I focus on a client-centered, strength-based approach that utilizes a variety of evidence-based modalities to take an individual approach to every client based on their strengths. I believe in promoting a safe space for all of my clients and creating a sex-positive, identity affirming, racially conscious environment. I work with depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, life transitions\adjustments, trauma, stress, self-esteem, relationships, and other problems and areas of growth.
I look forward to meeting you, learning about you, and creating a space for you to be heard. Despite the hardships in life, as humans we can heal our wounds and create a future full of strength, happiness, and hope.
