Board Approved Supervisor

Welcome!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Approved Supervisor in the state of Texas. I received my Bachelor’s degree in social work from West Texas A&M University and my Master’s in social work from University of Texas at San Antonio.

If you’re looking to heal from grief or traumatic life events or make meaningful change in your life, you’re in the right place.

Our starting place will always be from a place of curiosity, and I will encourage you to be curious about your experiences, feelings, and thoughts as we navigate healing together.

I take a client centered, trauma-focused, empowering, and strengths-based approach in helping clients navigate the challenges they face in their lives. I approach each client knowing they are the expert in their own lives and partner with them to honor and celebrate their identities and lived experience. It is an honor to walk alongside clients on their journey towards healing and wholeness.

I specialize in all areas of grief and loss, trauma, depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, phase of life issues, and adjustment to life altering events, including chronic and terminal illness, divorce, separation, and workplace stressors.

My counseling approach involves CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), narrative, somatic, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), person-centered and solution-focused therapy.

The partnership between a client and therapist is a safe therapeutic alliance. My role is to help clients set and reach their goals by finding meaning, understanding, insight, and breaking down barriers and self-limiting thought patterns. We all deserve a safe space to heal, explore, and process emotions, life experiences, and barriers.

Let’s get curious!
