Hello! My name is Annamarie Rodriguez, M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counseling, LPC-Associate, and I am under the supervision of Arturo Freyre, LPC-S, PMHNP-BC. I have several years of experience in the mental health field, including work in comprehensive psychological assessment and community mental health settings. My clinical background includes working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. As an emerging clinician, I am passionate about increasing access to culturally responsive care, particularly within communities where mental health is often misunderstood or stigmatized.
I believe deeply in the resilience, strength, and inherent worth of every individual. My goal is to empower clients to better understand their experiences, build insight, and develop practical tools that support meaningful and lasting change. I view each client as the expert of their own life and feel honored to walk alongside them in their journey toward healing, clarity, and growth.
My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-based. I integrate evidence-based modalities tailored to each individual’s needs, developmental stage, and cultural background. I strive to create a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. My clinical interests include working with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, neurodivergence, and individuals impacted by bullying or adverse childhood experiences.
