Thank you for checking out my profile and your interest in learning more about me. My name is JeRhonda and I’m an LPC Associate and National Certified Counselor (NCC) under the supervision of Amy Hutchinson, LPC-S, RPT-S.

My ideal client is in need of mental health services due to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family matters, etc. Their goal is to improve their overall mental health by alleviating symptoms of distress caused by various stressors and or triggers.

I have been in the mental health field since 2020, and I obtained a dual masters degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from West Virginia University. My passion is working with children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 4-25 years), as well as helping parents with parenting skills.

I offer individualized, family, couples, and group therapeutic services that are centered around the client’s needs. As no two people are alike, my treatment orientation involves an integrative approach which includes Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Person-Centered/Rogerian Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My skills and expertise include but are not limited to Anger Management; Anxiety; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); Behavioral Issues; Communication Problems; Depression; Family Conflict; and Relationship & Interpersonal Issues.

We all face difficulties in life, so it is ok not to be ok. However, it is not ok to stay there. My emphasis is on establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship and providing a welcoming, safe space where my clients are heard in a non-judgemental environment. My goal is to equip my clients with the coping skills they need to address problems and live life more fully. Let’s explore this journey together and allow me to provide you with the tools that will afford you the opportunity to be the best version of yourself.
