My name is Katherine Gomez and I am an LPC Associate supervised by Aimee Rhodes MS, LPC-S. While acquiring my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I had the privilege of completing my practicum at the community counseling clinic at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and my internship at a non-profit mental health agency for lower socioeconomic status individuals as well as individuals of the LGBTQIA+ community. During this time, I saw a diverse range of clients including kiddos in the playroom, young and older adults, and teens.

Counseling with me may look like a holistic, person-centered approach. However, I often tend to practice with a more eclectic style that includes interventions from Narrative Therapy, IFS, CBT, as well as Expressive Arts modalities and Play Therapy techniques in order to fully support you or your child’s unique needs. Additionally, mindfulness techniques and trauma-informed care may be integrated depending on the specific needs of the client. Because no individual is the same, I am always eager to expand on various theories and approaches in order to provide the level of care that you
or your child deserve.

I have experience working closely with clients of all ages regarding the following:
- Depression and Anxiety
- Suicidal Ideation
- Trauma / PTSD
- ADHD
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- Grief & Loss
- Stress Management
- Life Transitions
- Behavioral Issues
- Childhood Trauma
- Low Self Esteem
- Interpersonal Relationships

My first priority is always to foster a nurturing and safe environment for my clients while building a lasting foundation for an authentic and trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to provide you or your little one with unconditional support and compassion as we ride the wave that life has to offer together.
