Mary is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Texas and Limited Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Michigan. She obtained her Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan and holds a bachelor’s degree in Critical Social Thought from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts.
Mary is a trained LENS Neurofeedback provider and engages in other evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, SandTray Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing through a trauma-informed lens.
Through her work as a CE Instructor, Mary derives her therapeutic approach from a decolonial framework to help others unlearn harmful thought and behavioral patterns in ways that promote impactful change and improved quality of life. She believes in the power of person-centered care, strengths-based interventions, and the interplay of theory and praxis to drive innovative practice and nurture thriving individuals that contribute to the health of the community.
Mary works with clients aged 10 years and older.
