Kara Jackson, Counselor, Supervised by Nicole Davis, LCSW_S
Hello! I am a mental health counseling student with a background in behavior analysis, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care. For the past 5 years, I have had the opportunity to support children from all developmental stages with socio-emotional learning and adaptive behavior skill acquisition.
I believe it takes a village to nurture the academic, mental, and emotional health of our youth. It is my mission to not only support my clients throughout their mental health journey but to provide psychoeducation and resources for the success of their families as well.
As a proud educator and lifelong learner, my goal is to foster an environment of collaboration and collective learning for everyone involved in the therapeutic process. I am an advocate for social justice and hope to create a safe and equitable space for all identities. I work with mood and anxiety disorders, grief, trauma, self-esteem, and developmental or conduct disorders such as ASD, ADHA, and ODD.
I am looking forward to partnering with you and your child!
