Nicole Davis, LCSW-S,
Board Approved Supervisor
Welcome! My name is Nicole Davis and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor’s degree in social work from West Texas A&M University and my Master’s in social work from UTSA.
I take an empowering and strengths-based approach in helping my clients navigate the challenges they face in their lives. I approach each client knowing they are the expert in their own lives and partner with them to honor and celebrate their identities and lived experience. It is an honor for me to walk alongside my clients on their journey towards healing and wholeness.
I specialize in all areas of grief and loss, depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, phase of life issues, and adjustment to life altering events; including chronic and terminal illness, divorce, separation, and workplace stressors. My counseling approach involves cognitive-behavioral, narrative, person-centered and solution-focused therapy. Our starting place will always be from a place of curiosity and I will encourage you to be curious about your experiences, feelings and thoughts as we navigate healing and change.
The partnership between a client and therapist is a safe therapeutic alliance and my role is to help my clients set and reach their goals by finding meaning, understanding, insight, breaking down barriers and self-limiting thought patterns.
I believe we all deserve a safe space to explore and experience our feelings; process our experiences, barriers, losses and hurts.
In our sessions we will explore the struggles and barriers you face as well as explore options, solutions and paths to healing.
