Nicole DavisNicole Davis, LCSW-S,
Board Approved Supervisor

Welcome!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Approved Supervisor in the state of Texas. I received my bachelor’s degree in social work from West Texas A&M University and my Master’s in social work from University of Texas at San Antonio.

If you’re looking to heal from grief or traumatic life events or make meaningful change in your life, you’re in the right place.

Our starting place will always be from a place of curiosity and I will encourage you to be curious about your experiences, feelings and thoughts as we navigate healing together.

I take a trauma-focused, empowering and strengths-based approach in helping clients navigate the challenges they face in their lives. I approach each client knowing they are the expert in their own lives and partner with them to honor and celebrate their identities and lived experience. It is an honor to walk alongside clients on their journey towards healing and wholeness.

I specialize in all areas of grief and loss, trauma, traumatic grief, depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, phase of life issues, and adjustment to life altering events; including chronic and terminal illness, divorce, separation, and workplace stressors.

My counseling approach is eclectic and involves ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy, CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), Narrative, Somatic, CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), Person-Centered and Solution-Focused therapy. Therapy is not “one size fits all” and we will tailor your therapy to meet your individual needs.

The partnership between a client and therapist is a safe therapeutic alliance. My role is to help clients set and reach their goals by finding meaning, understanding, insight, and breaking down barriers and self-limiting thought patterns. We all deserve a safe space to heal, explore, experience our feelings, and process our experiences and barriers.

Let’s get curious!

Clinical Supervision

I am a Texas board approved supervisor and offer flexible group and individual supervision options both in office and virtually.

I take a curious approach to supervision, encouraging curiosity from my supervisees and a focus on cultivating healthy self-care and work-life balance habits early in their career.

With 20 years of experience in the field of social work, I bring experience in a variety of different settings: homelessness and at risk for homelessness, domestic newborn adoption, hospice and end of life care, bereavement care, Level I & II Trauma ICU, residential treatment, inpatient behavioral health, community mental health and private practice. I have extensive experience in individual and group counseling, as well as experience working with families and couples.

I have extensive experience in management and leadership and have served on several boards and committees.

I would love to help walk you through the process, build your clinical skills and take your knowledge to the next level
