Ross Hendrickson, MA, LMFT-Associate
Supervised by Jessica Simons, PhD., LMFT-S
I'm Ross, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger, healthier connections. I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University. Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly 25 years in pastoral ministry, walking alongside people through life's most meaningful and challenging moments. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for resilience, empathy, and hope, shaping my approach to therapy as a space for healing and growth.
My personal experiences also shape my understanding of relationships and family dynamics. I have been married for 23 years, and as someone in a cross-cultural marriage, I understand the unique challenges and strengths that come with blending different backgrounds. Raising two children has further deepened my appreciation for the joys and complexities of family life. Being based in San Antonio, I am attuned to the cultural and community dynamics that influence mental health and relationships. My mission is to empower clients with the tools to navigate challenges with confidence, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and practical solutions. Whether working with individuals facing personal struggles, couples seeking better communication, or families striving for deeper connections, I am committed to providing actionable tools that foster long-term change. Having worked extensively with people facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, I create a non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and personal challenges.
